How do we kill it? Chris: Only thing to do is run. It's probably immune to everything but magic or something. John: *They run from the blob and soon get to Mesania.* John: Now, where could he be? RE: *running* John: *Throws a smoke grenade down onto the ground as he sees the airship coming. The grenade starts to release the gas while a rope ladder drops from the airship. Everybody climbs up and it starts moving. John shoots a few random shots at the mafia guys to watch them cower, then climbs the rest of the way in.* Pilot: *Spins around in his seat.* Hey, could you do me a favor and close that hatch? It gets cold in here if you leave it open. *John closes it.* Thanks. Alright, welcome aboard the Sky Wolf. Where to? Chris: Go to the Sunder Continent. Pilot: Alrighty. *Turns to the copilot.* Put on the afterburners. We're goin' fast. *The trio fall on their butts as the airship dramatically increases in speed.* John: We should just BUY our own airship... we do this too much. Pilot: Heh. I know what you mean. That's what was happening with me. I stay in this baby all day. It's the safest place in the world for me. I've got the same problem as you. Jake: You're running from the mafia? Pilot: You got it. Jake: Seems like they're doing a lot more than usual lately. Chris: I feel another adventure coming on. Pilot: Well, I've set it to autopilot on a course to 25,000 feet above the middle of the Sunder Continent. John: This ship can go that high?! Pilot: Yeah. I gave it some modifications, but don't tell anybody. Chris: Say, what's your name anyway? Pilot: Jones. Any other time you need an airship, just call me up. I won't charge ya, so don't worry. I mean, we guys running from those losers gotta stick together, heh. *Looks at the front window.* Hang on. We're heading up. *Soon enough, they're above the clouds. The airship stays idle.* John: Now what do we do? Chris: Dunno. We'll figure something out. RE: *running* Jones: Oh boy... Jango! Punch it! Copilot (Jango): Right! *Pushes a lever as far as it'll go. The airship moves. Really fast. The combat airship behind them starts shooting at them. Jones: *Takes the controls and uses some evasive maneuvers.* We're too big. I can dodge their fire... Ah. I've got an idea. *Turns the ship around and heads straight at the airship that was tailing them.* Mafia dude: What are they doing?! They'll kill themselves! Mafia dude #2: Channel all energy to the front shields! They'll kill themselves, but not us! Mafia dude: Alright... *Presses a few buttons.* Jones: We have two stinkin' 40 mm machineguns. I'd better make this good. *Pulls up, and over the mafia's airship. He turns around quickly and shoots at the engines.* Jango! Aim! Jango: I'm on it. *Grabs the joystick and pulls out the targeting computer.* RATTA-TATTA-TATTA! *Bullets go into the engines and tear apart the outside. Smoke billows from the engines and Jones pulls away.* Jones: Alright, put it away. I think we taught them a lesson. We're heading up to Altor to refuel. We're runnin' low. Hopefully we lose 'em... Jones: You got it. *Turns on the thrusters and sets the autopilot to Callice.* What are we gonna do there? Chris: Blow the place. At least scare 'em. How much ammo do we have in the machine guns? Jango: 800 bullets in each gun. Chris: That should suffice. How big are the bullets again? Jango: 40 millimeter. Chris: Yup. That's good. We'll shoot up their HQ. John: Hey, I was wondering... If they have a single HQ there, why don't the cops just bust 'em? I mean, don't they know where they are?
