RE: Linhi Jango: Hey, we got a 20 millimeter vulcan gun, what more do you want? Megan: Now, this is REALLY getting weird. Linhi usually don't use man-made weapons... Especially not jets. Jake: Who cares? *They hear a huge clang. Then another. Then two more.* Tom: The heck is that? Jango: .50 caliber bullets. Tom: Jango: Hold onto your butts. *Pushes the jets to full power. Everyone nearly falls on their butts.* Jake: Watch out. More fighter jets coming at us. Jango: You handle the vulcan. Jake: Of course. *Jake grabs the controls of the vulcan gun and looks at the screen that shows where the gun is aiming.* Jake: Do you realize how difficult this is to aim? Jango: It's either that or go outside and move it around. Which do you prefer? Jake: Umm... *The vulcan gun opens fire. It tears into the fuel tank of one of the jets. It goes down. He aims at the next one as quickly as he can, but Jango starts rapidly turning and barrel-rolling and stuff. Machinegun fire from the jets trailing them whiz by the Sky Wolf as Jango evades it. He goes into a nose dive. After a few seconds he pulls up and around, hoping to come around back of the jets. He succeeds, and Jake destroys the rest of them.* Jango: Nice job. Jake: Thanks. Chris: *Shoots Volsak with his M82. Ammo: 9. 150 damage. Volsak HP: 3850.* Tom: *Uses a Revive on John... Nothing happens.* The heck...? Jake: It doesn't matter. Just fight! *Slashes Volsak with his Diamond Sword. 100 damage. Volsak HP: 3750.* Jango: *Shoots Volsak. 25 damage. Volsak HP: 3725.* Megan: *Shoots Volsak. Ammo: 25. 50 damage. Solder: For some reason I wasn't affected by the mind power. I have always hated Volsak. He has always been corupt and evil, desieving people. Such as yourself. Jake: Yeah, undernieth the city. He was that old guy that sent us in the wrong direction. Solder: I have been hiding out in diferant spots. I saw you guys go in there, so I followed you. Good thing I did, or you would be dead. Megan: Thanks for that. Solder: No problem. Just be carefull, I don't know if they other Solders are out of the mind spell yet. Tom: Well, we killed Volsak, so things should be back to normal... I believe, with the help of others, we may be able to lift the curse... I'm not sure though. Megan: We gotta try. Soldier: Yes, well, go see Elder Huyin. I will bring your friend to the shrine, north of here. Tell the guard that I give you permission to enter. *The soldier slings John over his shoulder and walks away.* Tom: I don't think I trust him... Chris: Don't worry about it. *Later, at the Elders' Shrine...* Soldier: It is I, Shecht. Guard: You may enter. *Shecht enters the building.* Shecht: Elders. *Bows.* Elder: Greetings, Shecht... Shecht: Volsak has been destroyed. His influence on our army will dissipate in a short time. Elder: Thank the Heavens... Shecht: But there has been... a casualty in the fight against Volsak. *Shecht sets John on a raised platform in the middle of the room.* He is not dead. It is a curse. I believe that, with your help, we can lift the curse... Elder: I have never heard of a curse such as this, therefore, we cannot help. Shecht: True, only Volsak and I know it, but he learned it from an ancient, forbidden scroll in the village that he was banished to. If we can find that scroll, we can lift this curse.
