Eric Clapton He's a very good guitarist. EXCEPTIONAL guitarist. Me and Wolf just watched a concert of his last night, and it was quite good. If the name doesn't ring a bell, you may have heard the songs "I Shot the Sheriff", "Layla" or "Cocaine". RE: Eric Clapton Well, since he uses a pick and plays almost as fast as Mark Knopfler, of course he has to be good! I can barely use a pick, I have to do claw-finger like MK. But the funny thing is, I used to only be able to use a pick. Then I stopped playing for a few years, and now I can't use a pick.
