RE: Lands of Meeriad v3.0 Joey, if you'd read what he said, that's an "awful attempt at Kylo Yash". That's why it looks so bad. Plus, "that program where you can scan a picture and bring it up in three dimension" most likely costs tens of thousands of dollars. RE: Lands of Meeriad v3.0 Sorry i just ment that juging by some of the stuff I seen I thought he could mack an old 5 year old program do something like a two year old program. Also i thought i heard something from my friend once about that phot to 3d programs for 50$ but then I'm one of the ten smartest people in my small town. RE: Lands of Meeriad v3.0 Here Joey, if it makes you feel better. Game models of the MP5A5 and the MP5SD6. Took me an hour or two to model the A5 and just a little bit to modify it to be the SD. Each one's got about as many polygons as that Kylo Yash. And when I modeled that Kylo Yash (which was quite a long time ago), I had it stuck in my head that I had to make it very low in polygons. So, it didn't turn out so well. Plus, the lighting doesn't help that picture of the engine up there, I've still got some bugs to work out. If anybody is well versed in advanced geometry, can you give me a hand? And about that scanning thing... Joey, do you mean a scanner that scans actual objects and generates them in 3D? RE: Lands of Meeriad v3.0 Thanks. Yeah, I used modified pictures of the guns. I didn't actually use a whole SD picture for the SD. I just used the barrel and the silencer. The rest is just the MP5-A5. Amazing what a good texture can do--without it, it looks like garbage. I don't use ICQ and I'm too proud to ask for help. But thanks anyway.
