Marti Gras Anyone else go to one? I did, it was... odd. The only reason I went was because I was in a mounted police training school, and we went out and patroled the streets at night. Some weird characters down there. (I was in Mobile AL.) Men dressed like women, panties on the outside of clothing, drunks, druggies... Like I said, it was odd. Got lozza beads though!! RE: Marti Gras Nah. I didn't flash anyone. They just threw beads out. I did see one girl flash to get some beads though. Cops didn't notice her though. Either that, or they didn't care. But they're supposed to do something about it. It's "public indecency" or something like that. I don't know how they didn't see her. She was standing in front of about 5 of them. (I was standing with them.) I think they might've all been watching the parade though. I wasn't catching anything, so I turned around and watched the crowd. That's when I saw it. >_> Good thing she did it so fast, all I saw was that she slid down her bra for a second. I didn't see any detail, thank goodness. To answer your question of when it ran, it ran for two weeks. It ended on Tuesday the 8th. I was only down there for a week though. RE: Marti Gras I was not patrolling. I have no authority down there. I would at least have to be 18 (maybe 20), and even then I wouldn't have been standing there. I would have been on horse back. I was standing with the cops so that I'd not get lost, or accidentally get into any trouble. I was part of the school though...so I got to stand on the other side of the barriers than all the civilians... So, next year or in a couple years, I can arrest her, or whatever. Military personel are civilians, the president is a civilian, everyone is. Just, they have jobs that make them known as otherwise. And, that was the best way I could describe it, and it's still somewhat true. I don't care if you don't agree. You're just a big 'ol pain in the butt anyway...
