Swamp Lands *Gorath and Gunner wade through the shallow swamps searching for the fabled "Luminous Treasures". They come across an old hermit who sells antiques* Old Man: You there! What brings you to this part of the swamp? Gorath: We are searching for a mysterious Object! Do you know anything about it? Old Man: Oh? You mean the "Luminous staue of the Forbiden Swamp"? Yes, yes I know of it... I could sell you a map that shows it's exact location! Gunner: How much? Old Man: Weeelll... The treasure's value is quite high... I suppose I could sell it for oh, say... 2000 LOM? Gunner: WHAT? That's crazy! Why should I pay so much for something you would never use! Old Man: Sorry, that is my final offer! Gorath: *hmmmm* Show me the map so I know you aren't bluffing! *The Old Man holds up the map so Gorath can see it* Gorath: Hah! This map is a fake! The swamp doesn't look anything like this! Old Man: What!? Are you calling me a liar!? The deal is off, you can't have my map! *The Man runs inside his shack and closes the door, Gorath and Gunner walk off* Gunner: Good job you idiot! Now we'll never find the MOST VALUABLE THING on this continent and it's all you're fault! What are we going to do now!? Gorath: *In a Super-Hero-like voice* Fret not, oh rightous citizen! For I have memorized the procise location of this glimmering object of legend! *returns to normal voice* It is in a cave just to the south with a sign outside that says "Death Hole". The man made the mistake of showing it to a person with a photographic memory! Gunner: Well, what are we waiting for! *They head south for a long distance before coming across an unbelievably dark cave, there is a sign outside marked "Death Hole, beware all who enter"* Gorath: Oh good, all we have to watch out for is people who enter here! Gunner: Just go! *They enter the cave and find some old torches on a wall. They light the torches and walk down the damp cave trail. They arrive at an ancient shrine with a wooden statue of a man with a snake head on it* Gunner: Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Gorath: That this would look good in my living room? Gunner: No! This is a warning! There are Vipers down here!!! Gorath: How can you tell? Gunner: There's a little plaque on the bottom that sa - Oh nevermind! We have to be carefull, vipers are deadly poisonous! Gorath: Well, do you have any weapons that you could use to take them on? Gunner: ...not really, just this *pulls out desert eagle* Gorath: Oh jeez... I guess I'll stay in front. RE: Swamp Lands *They continue down the dark tunnel until they reach a large opening with many side passages and a VERY LARGE Golden Statue laying in the center of the room* Gorath: Gunner: i've never seen so much gold in my life!! It has to be worth about 10,000 LOM! Gorath: What is that sleeping in the center? It's really... big. Gunner: Oh GOD!! It's the biggest viper i've ever seen! maybe we should leave. Gorath: And leave all of... of this!? Never! Kamikaze! *Battle* *Gorath opens fire at the Behemoth Viper (600 hp)* *90 damage* *The huge beast wakes up and lets out a loud roar, sending Gorath and Gunner backwards* Gunner: Idiot! *Gunner shoots the Viper with desert Eagle, 40 damage* *The viper swipes Gorath with a claw, 60 damage* Viper = 470 Gorath = 172 Gunner = 221 *Gorath shoots again, 90 damage* *Gunner opens fire with Desert Eagle, 42 damage* *Viper thrusts It's spiked tail into Gorath, 100 damage* Viper = 338 Gorath = 72 Gunner = 221 Gorath: Uaggghh! *Gorath uses potion and retreats behind his giant shield* *Gunner shoots Viper, 40 damage* *Viper thrusts tail at Gorath but cant penetrate shield* Viper = 298 Gorath = 222 Gunner = 221 *Gorath shoots Viper, 90 damage* *Gunner shoots Viper, 40 damage* *Viper spits out an acidic goo, 50 damage each* Viper = 168 Gorath = 182 Gunner = 181 Gorath = We've almost got him! *Gorath uses flame kick on Viper, 80 damage* *Gunner shoots Viper, 40 damage* *Viper spits out acid goo, 50 damage each* Viper = 48 Gorath = 132 Gunner = 131 *Viper takes 20 fire damage* *Gorath shoots Viper in the head with his glock. 45, 28 damage* *Viper falls over in a puddle of blood* Gorath: It's... finally... deeaad. Gunner: *Gasp* Gorath: Alright, let's loot the place! *They haul the statue onto their backs and trudge up to the cave entrance, when they reach the top, they drop the statue and take a rest* Gorath: Man... I dont know if I can carry this thing another inch! We have to come back and get it later... Gunner: Yeah, that sounds like a good idea, I'll go buy a Truck we can put it in. There is no way I'm carrying this back to Town! *There is a loud screaching echoing up from the cave, It slowly gets louder* Gunner: VIPERS!!!! *They pick up the statue and sprint through the shallow swamp as fast as they possibly can, screaming the whole way out of the swamp. When they make camp for the night (after hours of cussing about back pains). They light a fire and tie down the statue so nothing steals it, not even a Brian* Gorath: Oh, man! I'm never setting foot away from my couch after we get back to town and get our money for this. Gunner: From the way you're bent over like that, I dont think you'll be able to! Gorath: Yeah, you're right... I could use some pudding about now. Gunner: Okay, okay, stop it with the pudding thing it's not funny any more! I am sick and tired of you always wanting food! Gorath: I cant help it! I get stomach pains if I go to long without something to eat. Gunner: Yeah, that's called "hunger" deal with it! Gorath: Oh, I thought that was called "implosion". I haven't eating anything since the kidnapped mission. Gunner: You haven't been to the bathroom either... Gorath: Excuse me for a sec... *They pack up camp the next morning and are fully healed. They eat a breakfast of fried lizard and potatoes, and carry the statue to town. They sell it to a pawn shop and recieve 3,000 LOM for it, minus 1,000 each for a Chyropractor to fix their backs. The next day, there are headlines in the newspaper that read "Clawed snakes thrash local slaughter house, Police stumped"* Gorath: That pawn shop guy ripped us off! You should've said something! Gunner: Slag! Look at this Gorath! *He shows the newspaper to Gorath* Gorath: Oh man, did we cause all of this mayhame? All of those cows... eaten alive because we angered the Vipers, I... I must put an end to this! I must seak revenge!!! *Gorath grabs his M16 and starts back off to the Viper's layer* Gunner: Wait Gorath! *jokingly*It was a slaughter house dude, they were going to kill them anyway, It's not like we need to eat hamburger all we... - wait for me! Chris Edit: I already added the lom and took a potion out from the battle. You don't have to do anything Ultima. Gorath: Hey, old man, I'm gonna- Gunner: *interrupts him* Just leave him alone dude, he's old. *They go back to the cave.  The mud in front of the cave has wavy patterns in it, like it was recently passed over by snakes* Gorath: They were just here.  I don't like snakes, they make me nervous...
