RE: i... In case Jake didn't realize, Dire Straits is the band Mark started back in the late 70's. They "Faded to Black" after their last album "On Every Street" in 1991. They were getting too popular so Mark ended it. Actually, they went on tour for "On Every Street" for the last time in 1993, then they disappeared.
